Delicious and Healthy Gummy Candy At Home : Jelly, also known as “gummy bear” or simply “jellybean,” is a type of confectionery typically made from a mixture of sugar, water, gelatin, and fruit juice or flavors. It is characterized by its colorful, soft, and flexible texture. This delightful sweet is often produced in various fruit flavors and colors.

Delicious And Healthy Gummy Candy Recipe At Home:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fruit juice (choose your preferred flavor such as orange, strawberry, raspberry, etc.)
  • 3 tablespoons gelatin
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • Granulated sugar or coconut flour (for coating)

Instructions:

Hydrating the Gelatin:

  1. Add the gelatin to the fruit juice and stir well.
  2. Allow the mixture to sit for 5-10 minutes to let the gelatin hydrate.

Adding Sugar:

  1. Incorporate the granulated sugar into the mixture and continue stirring.
  2. Mix until the combination achieves a homogeneous texture.

Heating Stage:

  1. Begin heating the mixture over low heat. Be cautious not to let it come to a boil.
  2. Stir the mixture until the gelatin completely dissolves.

Optional Addition of Lemon Juice:

  1. Optionally, add lemon juice to enhance the vibrancy of the gummy bears.

Pouring into Molds:

  1. Pour the gelatin mixture into molds. Using silicone molds makes it easier to release the gummy bears later.

Cooling Process:

  1. Let the gummy bears cool at room temperature for a while.
  2. Afterward, refrigerate them for at least 2-3 hours or until they are completely set.

Coating Process:

  1. Once removed from the molds, coat the gummy bears with granulated sugar or coconut flour to give them a nice finish.

Serving:

  1. Your homemade gummy bears are now ready to be enjoyed! You can store them in the refrigerator and consume them as desired.
